Award Winning Medical Aesthetics

Doctor‑Led Medical Aesthetic Super Clinic in Maidenhead, Berkshire

Medical Aesthetics in Maidenhead

Berkshire Aesthetics, a world-leading medical practice and aesthetic clinic, was established in 2017 as one of the first super clinics outside London, as named by Tatler. The doctor-led skincare practice soon gained recognition from leading beauty journalists and received several industry awards by offering patients a wide range of bespoke treatments. Home Counties patients often asked me why there were not more Harley Street-style aesthetic clinics

Our response was to create a clinic offering well-researched, evidence-based aesthetic treatments near home that could effectively address many of the most common dermatological concerns. Initially focused on injectable treatments such as anti-wrinkle injections and dermal fillers, the offer expanded to ensure our patients could access the world’s best dermatology treatments.

Our founder, Dr Selena Langdon, understands the importance of providing a safe and discreet aesthetic clinic for those seeking a discreet location. Close to major towns, including Maidenhead, Marlow, Henley, Ascot, and Beaconsfield, our patients can access world-class treatments within easy reach for anyone in Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Surrey, or Oxfordshire.

Addressing concerns related to the face, body, as well as offering skincare and surgical advice, our team is equipped to support patients seeking to understand the treatments available to them and how their concerns can be addressed safely and effectively.

Dermal Fillers — Safety-first, Natural, Longevity-minded

Hyaluronic-acid fillers used sparingly and strategically—for structure, balance and tissue health. Ultrasound guidance where indicated; hyaluronidase on site for dissolution if required. If skin-health or energy-based treatments will serve you better first, we’ll recommend that path.

Straight talk
Safety over speedConservative dosing, staged reviews (2–6 weeks).
Ultrasound-enabledMapping & vascular awareness for higher-risk areas.
Full reversalMedical assessment + hyaluronidase available in-clinic.

  • Blend with skin boosters/devices for texture & glow
  • Outcome audits with consistent photography
When we’ll say “not filler (yet)”
  • Active acne/rosacea flare or poor barrier
  • Marked laxity better served by energy/surgical pathways

FAQs
How long do dermal fillers last?

Typically 6–18 months depending on area, product, dose and metabolism. We extend longevity by favouring structure-first placement and staged reviews over “all at once”.

Are dermal fillers safe?

Complications are uncommon but possible (bruising, swelling, vascular occlusion). Risk falls with experienced clinicians, sterile technique, ultrasound where indicated, and on-site hyaluronidase.

Can filler be dissolved?

Yes—HA fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase after medical assessment.

Filler vs. skin boosters—what’s the difference?

Fillers add structure/shape; skin boosters improve skin quality (hydration, texture). Many benefit from both; we often start with skin health first.

Downtime & aftercare

Expect possible redness/swelling/bruise for a few days. Avoid makeup for 12–24h and heavy exercise/sauna for 24–48h; follow your personalised aftercare.

Frequently asked questions

What treatments do you offer?

We provide evidence-based medical aesthetics including Morpheus8 RF microneedling, Alma Hybrid CO2 laser resurfacing, Emsculpt Neo, EMSella, CoolSculpting, polynucleotides (e.g., Ameela, Plinest, Purasomes), SkinVive, Profhilo, PDO threads, PRP, and chemical peels. Adults 18+ only.

Who will I see at consultation?

Consultations are clinician-led with consultant oversight by Dr Selena Langdon (MBBS BMedSci MRCS(Ed) MBCAM). You’ll receive a suitability assessment, a personalised plan, transparent pricing and aftercare.

Do you treat patients under 18?

No. We treat adults aged 18+ only.

How do I book?

Use our online booking or contact us. We’ll confirm your appointment and any preparation needed (e.g., pause retinoids before peels/laser; arrive make-up free).

What are your prices?

Fees vary by treatment and course design. See our price list for guide prices; exact fees are confirmed after clinical assessment.

Do you offer packages or combination plans?

Yes. Combination plans can address multiple concerns efficiently, for example Morpheus8 + CO2 laser, or Morpheus8 + polynucleotides. Package pricing is available.

Is there any downtime?

Downtime depends on treatment: superficial peels 0–3 days light flaking; medium peels ~5–7 days; Morpheus8 typically 1–3 days redness/swelling; fractional CO2 up to 7–10 days. We’ll plan around work and events.

Are results guaranteed?

No medical result can be guaranteed. Outcomes vary by anatomy, indication and aftercare. We set realistic expectations and review progress at follow-up.

Are treatments suitable for darker skin tones?

Yes, where clinically appropriate. We use PIH-aware protocols, conservative settings and pretreatment when indicated. Suitability is assessed individually.

Can I have treatment if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. Most aesthetic treatments are contraindicated in pregnancy and while breastfeeding. We’re happy to consult later.

Do you treat acne and acne scarring?

Yes. We tailor plans using peels, Morpheus8, fractional CO2, and PRP, depending on acne activity and scar type. Active acne is managed first.

Do you offer non-surgical body treatments?

Yes — CoolSculpting for fat reduction and Emsculpt Neo for muscle building/fat reduction, following medical screening.

What’s the difference between laser, RF microneedling and peels?

Fractional CO2 laser remodels skin with controlled ablation; Morpheus8 delivers heat via needles to tighten and improve texture; chemical peels accelerate cell turnover chemically. We’ll advise the most effective route for your goals.

How should I prepare before treatment?

Generally: daily SPF, avoid active tanning, stop retinoids/acids 5–7 days before peels/laser, and arrive make-up free. You’ll receive tailored prep and aftercare instructions.

Do you offer injectables?

Yes — clinician-delivered anti-wrinkle injections and hyaluronic acid dermal fillers when appropriate, following medical assessment and consent.
